The elementary school division of the "NHK National School Music Contest" was held in Tokyo on the 9th, and Kitakami Municipal Kurosawajiri Kita Elementary School in Iwate Prefecture won the gold prize for the first time.

The 89th "NHK National School Music Contest" will be held at NHK Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo for three days from the 8th.



On the second day, the 9th, the elementary school division was held, and 11 groups and 12 schools that won each block from all over the country participated. We sang a free song chosen by the school.

As a result of the examination, Kitakami Municipal Kurosawajiri Kita Elementary School in Iwate Prefecture, which was participating for the second time, was selected for the first gold prize.

In addition, Meguro Ward Higashiyama Elementary School in Tokyo, which participated for the first time, won the silver prize, and Shirokane Elementary School in Minato Ward, Tokyo, and Imari Elementary School in Imari City, Saga Prefecture won the bronze prize.



The competition will be held on the 10th and will be broadcast live on NHK's E Tele from 1:05 pm.



In addition, the FM broadcast will broadcast the highlights of the three-day competition from 4:00 pm on October 31st.
