The philosopher Bruno Latour died on the night of Saturday to Sunday October 9, in Paris, at the age of 75.

He is one of the first to reflect on the political question in connection with ecological issues.

However, it is in the Anglo-Saxon world that Bruno Latour is first praised.

Bruno Latour, born in 1947 in Beaune, into a family of Burgundy wine merchants, passed his aggregation as a philosopher after training in anthropology in the Ivory Coast. 

He is one of the first French intellectuals to perceive the importance of ecological thought. 

We have changed worlds, he explained in the 1990s, since we entered the Anthropocene.

Thus turning the page of the Moderns who since the 17th century have maintained that non-humans are foreign to us. 

He translates his thought in several works and does not limit himself to pure climatic thought.
