On October 9, by the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chenshan Center of National Important Wild Plant Germplasm Resources - Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden, China Environmental Protection Foundation, "Wild China" Studio, Forestry of Chayu County, Linzhi City, Tibet Autonomous Region The Chinese giant tree scientific research team composed of the Grassland Bureau and others released the accurate height of Yunnan Huangguo fir, the tallest tree in China, at 83.4 meters, and released its life-size photo.

The data picture shows the photo of the giant tree released on October 9th. The photo was taken by four scientific expedition team members. First, a drone was used to take a group of three to six photos every few meters, and then the photo was taken. Groups a few meters apart and shoot all the way to the top of the tree, so that more than 160 photos of different heights are obtained.

The stitching is completed in the later stage, and the overall frame exceeds 350 million pixels, which can be projected on a 100-meter giant screen to show the details of the giant tree.
