On October 9, in Changchun, Jilin Province, citizens started the "stocking autumn vegetables" mode to welcome the coming winter.

In the streets and alleys, trucks full of green onions and cabbage parked in the designated sales areas. The lively shouts of vegetable farmers were intertwined with the earthy autumn vegetables.

Citizens shuttle among them, picking their favorite autumn vegetables.

Storing autumn vegetables for winter is a long-standing living habit in Northeast China, and it is also a "wintering ceremony" for Northeasterners.

The reporter saw at the sales point that the "four old things" such as cabbage, radish, green onion and potatoes occupy the main position in the autumn vegetable market.

Carrots, sweet potatoes, etc. also appeared in the sales ranks of autumn vegetables.

It is understood that this year's Changchun Autumn Vegetables will be available from October 1st to October 25th, with a period of 25 days.
