China News Service, Linfen, October 8 (Reporter Li Tingyao) The Public Security Bureau of Hongdong County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province issued a police report on October 8, saying that a man in the county was placed on file for investigation by the police on suspicion of obstructing the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases.

  The police report said that on October 5, a family of four from Xi Moudong, a village in Zhaocheng Town, Hongdong County, returned to their home in Zhaocheng Town, Hongdong County by self-driving a small bus from Xinjiang.

Xi Moudong violated the epidemic management regulations and went out to take a bath without authorization during the home isolation period. He was initially screened positive on October 6, which brought serious consequences to the epidemic prevention and control work.

  The Hongdong County Epidemic Prevention and Control Leading Group Office reported on October 7 that at 22:15 on October 6, the nucleic acid tests of 3 Xinjiang returnees were initially positive, and they were later confirmed as cases of new coronary pneumonia after review.

Since then, the county has screened out the fourth and fifth positive cases, and the sixth positive case has been initially screened.

  According to a notice issued by the Hongdong County Epidemic Prevention and Control Leading Group Office on October 7, Case 1 rode an electric bike to a bathroom in a certain village at 15:20 on October 5.

Case 2, Case 3 and Case 1 returned to Hong Kong from Xinjiang in the same vehicle.

Case 4 is the mother of case 1, case 5 is the youngest son of case 1, and case 6 is the younger brother of case 1.

  At present, Xi Moudong has been placed on file for investigation by the Hongdong County Public Security Bureau on suspicion of obstructing the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and the case is under further investigation.
