  It is reported that more than 300 films from 71 countries (regions) will be screened in theaters in the Haeundae area of ​​Busan, including the Film Palace, Lotte Cinema, and CGV Cinema, during the film festival. The opening film is the Iranian film "The Smell of the Wind" and the closing film is The film is a Japanese movie "A Certain Man".

Xu Wenyong, chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Busan Film Festival, said that it is expected that the number of tourists from various countries during this year's film festival will reach 80-90% of the level before the epidemic.

  Hong Kong actor Tony Leung's visit to Busan has become a major attraction of this film festival.

At the opening ceremony on the evening of the 5th, Tony Leung won the Asian Filmmaker of the Year Award, and the big screen reviewed his film career. The organizing committee said at the time of awarding the award that "this award is given to the great actors of our era". When accepting the award, he thanked the Korean fans, and expressed his honor to come to Busan again to meet Korean fans face to face.

  In addition, this year's film festival also specially set up the "In the Mood for Love" section, and Tony Leung personally selected 6 films including "East and West Achievement", "Dark Flower", "Breakthrough", "In the Mood for Love", "Infernal Affairs" and "2046". The representative works were screened, and Tony Leung himself also attended some post-screening meetings to interact with the audience on the spot.
