Tomohiko Aso, 56, director of radiological technology at the National Cancer Center Central Hospital in Tokyo's Chuo Ward, said that the introduction of a system related to the hospital's radiation medical equipment would be advantageous to a company in Hiroshima. In March last year, in return for the convenience of creating specifications, the company was arrested on suspicion of accepting bribes from the president, Yukio Okabe (65), for receiving bribes worth 970,000 yen, including tablet devices.

The police sent the two to the Yokohama District Public Prosecutors Office on the 7th.

In this bribery case, an interview with investigative officials revealed that the director was suspected of receiving a tablet device etc. directly from the company on the bribery side in the director's office in the hospital.

After that, it is believed that some of them were resold and exchanged for cash.

The police are investigating further, such as what kind of exchanges occurred over the delivery of bribes.

Police have not disclosed the identity of the two men, citing an obstacle to the investigation.
