  The large-scale drama "Children of Heroes" is directed by the Shanghai Veterans Affairs Bureau and the Political Work Bureau of the Shanghai Garrison District, and jointly produced by the Shanghai Drama Art Center, the Shanghai Longhua Martyrs Cemetery (Longhua Martyrs Memorial Hall), and the Shanghai Supporting Army and Your Family Foundation.

  "Shanghai - City of Heroes" is the theme of the play "Children of Heroes".

The play is based on Ba Jin's novel "Reunion" and the film of the same name shot by Changchun Film Studio. The story of reunion and reunion with adoptive father Wang Fubiao and biological father Wang Wenqing on the battlefield.

The technical design of the play, Xu Jinjia, used to be a soldier. After retiring from the army, he transferred to the Shanghai Drama Art Center to become a technical designer.

During the creation process of the drama "Heroes and Children", he kept in mind that "Yang Gensi doesn't believe in spirit" -- he doesn't believe that there are tasks that cannot be completed, difficulties that cannot be overcome, and enemies that cannot be overcome. On the stage, he contributed his own strength to the final presentation of the stage.

  In fact, "Children of Heroes" has a close connection with Shanghai. Whether it is Ba Jin, the original author of the novel, or Xia Yan, who promoted the filming, they all come from Shanghai.
