Fake heiress Anna Sorokin released from prison
Anna Sorokin, who called herself Anna Delvey to swindle New York's elite by posing as an heiress, has been released from prison.
According to
Variety
, she had to post a deposit of 10,000 dollars, and will now have to wear an electronic bracelet, and refrain from using social networks.
The con artist spent less than two years behind bars for her scams and was released in February 2021. She was imprisoned again soon after for overstaying her visa.
Anna Sorokin therefore finds herself free, but waiting to learn more about her expulsion from American territory.
