Every year from the end of September to mid-November, the pandas in the Xining Panda House "stick autumn fat", and the breeders need to feed them 6 times a day.
In addition to bamboo, juicy and concentrated feeds such as apples and specially made wotou are also fed every day to ensure the giant panda's intake of trace elements and other nutrients.
There are four giant pandas, one male and three females, living in the Xining Panda House.
