A Ukrainian woman is killed by her husband in a refugee shelter

A Ukrainian refugee in Berlin was killed by her husband after an argument broke out between them in a refugee shelter.

According to the Berlin Metropolitan Police press office, the couple quarreled at a refugee shelter in northeastern Berlin, where a man attacked his 44-year-old wife and she "mortally wounded".

According to "Russia Today", the security services reported that the woman is a Ukrainian citizen, residing in Germany as a refugee.

And German media said that "eyewitnesses who heard the quarrel called the police, who arrived at the scene and were able to arrest the 50-year-old perpetrator near the crime scene."

Neighbors also saw the couple's two children, who were probably witnesses to the crime, and were handed over to childcare.
