On the morning of September 30, Yichang City, Hubei Province held a "Martyr's Day" event. The city's party, government and military leaders, veterans and representatives from all walks of life presented flower baskets to the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument in memory of the martyrs. Yichang is located in the southwest of Hubei Province, at the mouth of Xiling Gorge of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
