The Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival is held every fall to let many people become familiar with excellent art.



On the first day, the opening event was held at the National Theater in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and when Prince Akishino and his wife arrived, the audience applauded and the couple responded by bowing.



According to the Agency for Cultural Affairs, it will be the first time in two years that Prince Akishino and his wife will attend this event due to the influence of the new coronavirus.



At the venue, "Michiyuki Hatsune Tabi", a scene from the Kabuki play "Yoshitsune Senbonzakura" was first performed.



In the scene where Shizuka Gozen and his companion, a fox disguised as a samurai, travel through the cherry blossoms to meet Yoshitsune, Kikunosuke Onoe, who played the role of the fox, performed splendid movements, and the couple were eagerly watching.



At the Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival, a total of 202 events will be held until the end of next month, mainly in Tokyo and Osaka.
