Al-Wasl Dome returns to its charming and amazing shows that attract all the eyes of its visitors to the top, to witness the most beautiful creative arts through modern technologies. with sunset.

The Dome of Al-Wasl was one of the most prominent attractions for visitors to “Expo Dubai 2020”, as it was able to entertain the visitors of the exhibition over the course of six months with many events, starting with the video shows that were presented on its screen, to hosting the brightest stars of the Arab world and the world, who gave their concerts Lyrical and musical on her stage.

Al-Wasl Dome has many features that make it an architectural icon, especially in terms of height and high technical features. The diameter of the dome is 130 meters and its height is 67.5 meters, which is equivalent to the height of a 22-storey building, and the weight of the dome is 350 tons, which is approximately the weight of Airbus A380.

The dome's roof was designed from solid materials and fabric, and was inspired by the Expo 2020 Dubai logo.

It employs the latest display and sound systems, as it broadcasts shows, images and videos through more than 200 projectors installed on it.

During the Expo 2020 Dubai, Al Wasl Dome witnessed the official opening ceremony, the closing ceremony, and a large number of important events and performances, as it presented its daily shows from sunset until the last hours of the night.

It mixed concerts and shows, especially those embodying the cultures of countries, with a focus on the history of the Emirates and national identity through a wide range of videos that were specially filmed for display on the dome, and directed by Emirati directors, most notably the show “Ya Rashid Al Khair” by Nahla Al-Fahad and Amna Belhoul. Which was presented on the occasion of the anniversary of the death of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may God rest his soul.

Also, in Al Wasl Square, during the activities of "Expo 2020 Dubai", the program "Immortal Evenings", which hosted the brightest stars, was organized.

The evenings began with the artist Kazem El Saher, then the performances and concerts followed with many stars, including Ragheb Alama, Nancy Ajram, Mehd Hamad, Fayez Al-Saeed, Hussein Al Jasmi, in addition to the special concert of the artist Sami Youssef, which coincided with the anniversary of the Prophet's birthday.

Among the international bands hosted by the Al Wasl Dome are the British band "Cold Play" and the rap trio "Black Eyed Peas".

A series of important events were also presented on the dome's screen, the first of which was the appearance of the French astronaut at the European Space Agency, Thomas Pesquet, in a live broadcast from the International Space Station.

In addition to the start of the Al-Wasl Dome performances, the day before yesterday, four pavilions at the headquarters of Expo City Dubai opened their doors to visitors, which are the Vision Pavilion, Women, Terra and Alef.

A visit to the four pavilions provides visitors with an exceptional experience entitled to inspire and dazzle, starting with the Vision Pavilion, which presents the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who transformed Dubai into one of the most prominent cities in the world, passing through the Women’s Pavilion, which It highlights its role through the ages and how it was able to achieve the march of progress.

While presenting at the Terra Pavilion, Alef presented the concepts of sustainability and future developments.
