At the meeting, Liu Jianguo, Deputy Secretary-General of the People's Government of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, gave a briefing on the latest situation of the epidemic in Xinjiang.

  From 0:00 to 21:30 on September 29, there were 28 new cases of local asymptomatic infections, including 7 in Urumqi, 7 in Ili, 5 in Bazhou, 4 in Turpan, and 2 in Tacheng. 3 cases in Hami City (imported from other provinces).

  15 new cases of local asymptomatic infections were released from isolation and medical observation.

  As of 21:30 on September 29, there was 1 confirmed local case in the autonomous region; there were 208 local asymptomatic infections.

  Among the 28 infected persons, 8 were reported from centralized isolation points, 13 were screened in high-risk areas, and 7 were screened by closed-loop managers.

  There has been an increase in the number of reported infections across the region.

Recently, all parts of our region are gradually lifting the "static management", in accordance with the requirements of the ninth edition of the State Council's joint prevention and control mechanism, the orderly restoration of normal production and life order.

As the flow of people resumes, the risk of the spread of the epidemic will also increase, and there may be a rebound of the epidemic in some areas.

  The distinguishing feature of this round of epidemics is the rapid spread and clustering.

Xinjiang has analyzed 5,481 cases of infection, of which 73 were clustered in places, involving 2,609 people, accounting for 47.6%; 773 were clustered at home, involving 2,081 people, accounting for 38.1%, accounting for 85% of the total. above.
