A woman, her sister-in-law and her two children aged 4 and 6 were left on a motorway service area by the driver of a FlixBus bus in Rosny-sur-Seine (Yvelines) this Sunday.

The vehicle had left in the morning from La Défense (Hauts-de-Seine) and was to connect Cabourg (Calvados), says

Le Parisien

.

The driver did not wait for them after the first break.

“We knew we had 10 minutes to go to the bathroom, we were on time.

When we got out, the bus was no longer there, ”explained one of the passengers to our colleagues.

The driver would not have noticed their absence

She tried to contact FlixBus but got no response.

Her husband then had to pick them up from Caen.

"My other sister-in-law went to Cabourg to pick up the luggage," said the passenger.

There, the driver would not have noticed the absence of the four travelers.

For its part, the company explained to the daily that passengers had been warned of “the 15-minute break duration”.

FlixBus adds that this deadline was even "exceeded" by the driver to wait for everyone.
