Wolverine will return to the screens - Australian actor Hugh Jackman will again play the supernatural hero of Marvel comics and films.

The return of the character was announced by Ryan Reynolds on Twitter in the announcement of the third part of the Deadpool franchise.

Reynolds posted a short video in which he expressed his regret about missing the D23 Expo, which took place in early September, and also admitted that the team had been working for a long time on creating the next Deadpool film.

“For the sake of this film, I had to really delve into my soul.

Obviously, his first appearance in the MCU should be special.

We need to preserve the character of his character, find a new depth and motives for behavior, a new meaning.

Every Deadpool movie needs to stand out and stand apart.

It was an incredibly difficult task, for which I had to dig into the most hidden corners ... And I have ... no ideas.

Yes... It's completely empty.

And I'm terribly scared.

Of course, we had one little thought ... ”, the artist says in the video.

At that moment, Hugh Jackman appears in the frame, and Reynolds asks him a question: “Hey Hugh.

Would you like to play Wolverine one more time?"

Jackman replies in the affirmative and without hesitation, which pleases many fans of his character.

At the end of the video, Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" plays while the screen reads "I will always love Hugh".

Afterwards, viewers see the Deadpool logo being cut by Wolverine's adamantium claws.

In the comments to the post, many users write that they can no longer wait for the movie.

"Hugh!

I need a few days to move on from this news!

Hooray!” says a fan.

One of the users of social networks noted that he was happy with this news, however, in his opinion, it was a shame to return the hero to the universe when the fans had already said goodbye to him in the Logan feed and came to terms with his death.

“I would be hurt if I made a masterpiece where I say goodbye to a character forever, only to bring him back a few years later.

But I also really want to see the meeting of Deadpool and Wolverine, so in any case, I'm satisfied, ”he writes.

More attentive fans remind him that Logan is set in 2029, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe films are currently set in 2024.

This could mean that the action in the new part of "Deadpool" takes place before the events in "Logan".

Despite the general joy, among the commentators there are those who were not impressed by the news about the return of the hero to the screen.

So, one of the viewers is dissatisfied with the fact that the studio's films have become worse.

“Hopefully it won’t be spoiled by too many jokes.

Recently, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been terribly disappointing, ”commented the movie buff.

By the way, the director of the film "Logan" James Mangold also could not pass by and commented on the return of Jackman and Wolverine to the screens.

Initially, Mangold posted on Twitter only a GIF with the final scene of the tape, in which the Wolverine clone kills Logan.

Fans immediately began to wonder what this post could mean.

Many social media users began to reassure the director, telling him that "Logan" was an excellent film, but fans need a story about Deadpool and Wolverine.

Mangold later wrote to be clear that he was keen to see what Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman would do together.

"My God!

Everyone calm down.

I'm just kidding!

I'm alright.

Logan will always be.

Whether it's the multiverse or the prequel, time warp or wormhole, canon or non-canon, or even no logical explanation, I'm excited to see what kind of madness my dear friends Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman concoct.

Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy (Real Steel, Night at the Museum, Arrivals).

Writers include Paul Wernick, Rhett Reese and Ryan Reynolds.

All three previously worked together on scripts for the first and second parts of the franchise.

It is known that the new picture, like the previous ones, will have an R rating.

Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds previously appeared together in X-Men Origins.

Wolverine".

But in this version, Deadpool appeared before the fans with his mouth sewn up and without his trademark red and black suit.

Seven years later, Reynolds, a huge Deadpool fan, fulfilled his dream of playing the witty killer the way he saw him.

The Deadpool films are the highest-grossing films in the X-Men film series.

Each part earned more than $780 million at the box office. Only the 2014 film X-Men: Days of Future Past had a similar success ($746 million).

Wolverine was last seen in the movie Logan in 2017.

In it, Hugh Jackman's character tends to an ailing Professor X while hiding near the Mexican border in an attempt to hide his past.

But it overtakes him, like death in the finale.

For the on-screen duo in the film, Jackman and actress Dafne Keen, who played the role of Logan's alleged daughter, received an MTV award in 2017.
