The hat of a girl in the first grade of elementary school in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, who has been missing since the 23rd of this month, was found on the downstream side of the Edo River on the 28th.

Police are expanding the area downstream to continue the search.

Asome Minami (7), a first-year elementary school student living in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, went missing around 11:30 am on the 23rd of this month while going alone to a park near her home.



So far, the security camera of a temple in Nagareyama City, which is adjacent to the city, has captured a girl who seems to be Asame riding a kick scooter and passing by. Shoes and socks have been found on the riverbed of the remote Edogawa River.



On the 28th, Mr. Asame's hat was newly found at the water intake in Matsudo City, about 1 km downstream from this riverbed.



For this reason, the police will continue the search on the 29th by expanding the range downstream, such as the area where her hat was found.



Asame is about 1 meter 15 centimeters tall, her hair is short, and she is wearing a pink short-sleeved T-shirt and blue shorts, and the police continue to call for information.
