The Hainan Provincial Meteorological Bureau lowered the typhoon level 3 warning to the typhoon level 4 warning at about 6 o'clock on the 28th.

  It is reported that at 5:00 on the 28th, the center of "Olu" was located at 15.9 degrees north latitude and 108.3 degrees east longitude, in Da Nang, Vietnam, with a maximum wind force of 14 (42 m/s) near the center.

It is expected that "Olu" will continue to move westward at a speed of about 20 kilometers per hour, and its intensity will rapidly weaken.

Affected by the "Aolu" and the easterly jet stream: in the ocean, during the day on the 28th, the wind force on the sea surface near the Xisha Islands was 8-10, and the wind on the eastern and southern parts of Hainan Island and the sea near the Zhongsha Islands was 7-9; Qiongzhou Strait, The wind force on the sea surface of the western part of Hainan Island and the Beibu Gulf was 6 to 9; the wind force in the above sea areas continued to decrease from the night of the 28th; on the land side, there was heavy to heavy rain in the eastern half of Hainan Island, and moderate to heavy rain in the western half.

  The Hainan Provincial Meteorological Bureau lowered the rainstorm level three warning to the rainstorm level four warning at about 6 o'clock on the 28th.

However, due to the combined influence of the "Aolu" residual circulation and cold air, it is estimated that in the next 24 hours, some townships in cities and counties such as Haikou, Wenchang, Qiongzhong, Qionghai, Wanning, Lingshui, Baoting, Wuzhishan and Sanya on Hainan Island will be affected. There will still be more than 50 mm of precipitation, and relevant units and personnel are requested to take precautions.
