The five African teams involved in the 2022 World Cup had mixed fortunes in the preparation match on September 27: Ghana beat Nicaragua 1-0, Senegal drew 1-1 against Iran, the Morocco and Paraguay were neutralized 0-0, Cameroon were beaten 1-0 in South Korea, while Tunisia were swept away by Brazil 5-1.
