Recently, 40,000 mu of apples in Shuangcheng Town, Sixth Regiment, Alar City, First Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, were covered in trees, and fruit farmers ushered in a bumper harvest.
Shuangcheng Town is now planting 40,000 mu of apples, with an annual output of about 74,000 tons and an annual output value of over 300 million yuan.
At present, the area of Xinjiang Corps' characteristic forest and fruit industry exceeds 3 million mu, with an annual output of over 4 million tons of dried and fresh fruit.
In 2021, Xinjiang Corps' fruit output will exceed 4.75 million tons, an increase of 2.3% over the previous year.
