A 52-year-old employee of the Public Security Intelligence Agency was arrested on suspicion of drinking alcohol and driving a car in Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture.

A rear-end accident occurred just before, and when the police rushed to the scene, the smell of alcohol was detected, and as a result of the test, alcohol exceeding the standard value was detected.



In addition, the supervising investigator misrepresented his occupation as a "company employee" in the police investigation after his arrest, but the lie was revealed in the subsequent investigation by the prosecution.



Regarding the arrest of the staff, the Public Security Intelligence Agency said, "It is truly regrettable, and if the suspicion is confirmed, we will deal with it strictly."
