If you closely follow Chinese opposition blogs (and not only Chinese ones), you will notice that coups happen in their virtual space with enviable regularity.

Now, when the outcome of the 20th Congress is not a foregone conclusion, and a large-scale Taiwan crisis loomed on the horizon, the topic becomes even more speculative.

For us in Russia, the factor of China and the position of the Russian-friendly Xi Jinping, in connection with the growing integration, is becoming much more significant than before.

Today, and this often happens, a number of major political Telegram channels in Russia have picked up the Taiwanese canard about the “overthrow of Xi Jinping”: supposedly, planes stopped flying over China, “disgruntled generals” led by the “dismissed” commander of the Northern Military District Li Qiaoming detained Xi , and someone began to write that military equipment was being massively introduced into Beijing and it was no longer Xi who was arrested, but Premier Li Keqiang.

Most of these messages are no different from dozens of similar messages in the Chinese foreign blogosphere, and Li Qiaoming left his position, most likely to take up a post in the Central Military Committee following the 20th Congress.

Airplanes fly, trains move - Chinese leaders continue their regular work.

"Rifle gives birth to power" and the military determines China's policy.

But, as I already wrote in my Telegram channel, Xi is the protege of the army and those sovereign forces in China that turned the existing order in China, reversing the movement of time since 1989, when the army, by a deadly attack for itself, stopped from perestroika collapse of China, but significantly lost its position in the Chinese elite.

Xi and the army are synonymous, Xi is nominated by the army to protect and realize the interests of the army: three years before the post of general secretary, in 2009, he took the position of vice chairman of the Central Military Committee - and this was an unconventional personnel transfer of the son of the military leader of the times Xi Zhongxun's civil war.

Xi's coming to power was marked by a large-scale purge of the top military leadership from bribe-laden logistics, who were promoted to senior positions by the supporter of the Sino-American consensus, Secretary General Hu Jintao, Xu Caihou and Guo Boxiong.

Xi began to prepare the country for a large-scale war - a war with the United States and its allies.

But the promotion of this fake in Russia has gained a scale for a reason: China has become too important a partner for us, and even more dissatisfied with the sovereign policy of Russia are looking for a reason to prove that everything is lost and that Russia has no reliable partners in the world, that China will not help us , turning the facts around, using fake Taiwanese bloggers and tabloid reprints.

The darker the night, the closer the dawn.

The gloomier the prospects for the Western bloc of countries and the greater the successes of Russia and China, including on the SCO platform, the greater the despair of the forces opposing them.

All this week, China has been in a fever: Xi Jinping's emergency flight to the SCO, Nikolai Patrushev's urgent visit to China, a series of court decisions against top police and justice officials related to the events of early 2020...

The news turned out to be fake, but the background against which this fake went viral is far from the most stable.

The three weeks leading up to the convention will be full of political decisions and events, many of which may be dramatic.
