The death of the Syrian artist Diab Mashhour

The able Syrian artist Diab Mashhour passed away, Saturday, at the age of 76, according to official media sources.

And the Syrian news agency "SANA" said that the Artists' Syndicate called the artist the owner of the songs "rooted in the conscience of the Syrian and Arab public."

The late was famous for his work with Duraid Lahham and the late Naji Jabr and Nihad Kalai.

He is famous, born in Deir ez-Zor. He has a distinctive and special line in Euphrates singing. He has presented many songs that have become famous in the Arab world since the sixties of the last century, most notably "Ya Bu Radin, Ya Bu Radana" and "Alamaya Alamaya".

The late artist participated in a number of Syrian television works, such as "Sah Al-Nom" and "Salah and Sugar", and also dealt with major Syrian composers such as Zaki Muhammad, Suhail Arafa, Abdel Fattah Sukkar and Amin Al-Khayat.
