Gunma Prefecture announced on the 24th that 469 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture and one death was confirmed.
That's 566 fewer than last Saturday's 1,035.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 232,308, of which 463 died.
