An Egyptian tries to commit suicide in a live broadcast.. and the police intervene

The competent Egyptian authorities announced, on Saturday, that they had arrested a young man who threatened to commit suicide through a live broadcast on a social media platform.

In a statement published on its official Facebook page, the Ministry of Interior stated that a person had expressed his desire to commit suicide and his intention to portray himself due to family disputes between him and his parents. 

The statement pointed out that the person was identified and his place of residence was known in the city of Mit Ghamr in Dakahlia Governorate, without revealing his identity or age.

 When the young man was asked about the reason for his action, he explained that he was going through a “bad psychological state due to family disputes between him and his parents and his father’s desire to expel him and his wife from the house.”
