Wakayama Prefecture announced on the 21st that 599 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 130,120 people were confirmed to be infected in Wakayama Prefecture.
One person has also been confirmed dead, bringing the total number of deaths in Wakayama to 246.
On the 21st, there was one severely ill person who was not there as of the 20th.
