Nagasaki Prefecture and others announced on the 21st that a total of 1,008 people were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
A total of 208,621 people were confirmed to be infected in the prefecture, excluding cruise ship crew members anchored at Nagasaki Port.
