Prosecutors investigated Park Soo-hong's older brother, Park, who was arrested on the 13th, and found that Park's wife, Lee Mo, owned 20 billion won in real estate despite being a housewife. was reported to have been asked to do so.



Lee's total real estate secured by the prosecution is estimated to be worth 20 billion won.

In fact, starting with a shopping mall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, which she purchased alone since 2004, in 2014, she and her husband Park joined two apartments in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul worth 2 billion won and an apartment in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, worth 1.7 billion won. bought



In addition, Mr. Lee and his husband Park Jin-hong jointly own eight shopping malls in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, with a total value of more than 10 billion won.

At that time, it was confirmed that the real couple borrowed 1 billion won from Park Soo-hong to purchase the shopping mall, but named Park and Lee's couple and their family (mother Ji-mo).



Prosecutors are also said to be looking into Theyer, a corporation established by Park Soo-hong's older brother and his wife.

The Park and his wife changed the name of two shopping malls in Sangam-dong and Magok-dong, Mapo-gu, which were under their personal name, to the corporation Theyer in early 2020.



Park Soo-hong's side said, "In early 2020, Park Soo-hong was suspected of embezzlement and the conflict was in progress. I am suspicious,” he said.



In addition, the prosecution is known to have confirmed that his brother-in-law Lee used corporate cards such as Mediaboom for women-only high-end fitness centers, children's English and math academies, and stole 8 million won in cash from Park Soo-hong's personal account.



Previously, Park Soo-hong filed a complaint with the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office in April last year, claiming that Park did not keep the profit-sharing contract (7 to 3) for 30 years from 1991 and used company money for personal purposes.

In June of last year, he filed a claim for damages worth 8.6 billion won against the Park couple, and two months later, he claimed an additional 3 billion won, saying, "We have caught additional circumstances of embezzlement."



Prosecutors found that Park embezzled about 2.1 billion won, such as stealing false wages, and applied for an arrest warrant.



Park Soo-hong's side insisted that Lee also be arrested, but it is reported that the prosecution did not request an arrest warrant, referring to precedents for not arresting the couple at the same time.
