Recently, villagers in Caojiagou Village, Liulin County, Shanxi Province were busy harvesting broom grass. Looking around, there were gratifying scenes of good harvests everywhere.
In order to allow the villagers to live a good life, Caojiagou Village led the cooperative and villagers to develop the broom grass planting industry by exploiting the advantages of resources, and blazed a new path of "golden broom" to become rich.
Today, the cultivation of broom grass in Caojiagou Village has formed an industry, which not only drives the villagers to become rich, but also makes the rural environment more beautiful.
At present, the cooperative has transferred a total of 200 mu of land, with an output value of 3,000 yuan per mu and an annual output value of 600,000 yuan.
Every year in the golden autumn, clusters of red broom grasses form a beautiful landscape, attracting more and more photography enthusiasts and tourists.
