In addition, the cities of Yokohama and Sagamihara announced the deaths of four men and women in their 80s and 90s.

According to NHK's summary, the number of infected people announced in Kanagawa prefecture is now 1,452,566, of which 2,934 have died.



On the other hand, the prefecture announced that it has issued voluntary medical treatment notifications to 742 people.

Those who test themselves, confirm their positive results, and register them in the prefectural system do not fall under the category of infected persons under the Infectious Diseases Act.
