Johnny Depp and Amber Heard .. After the court separated them, the cinema brings them together

After leaving the courts, the case of American star Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard entered the filming sites to be turned into a movie.

The free platform "Tubi" is preparing to show the movie "Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial", which deals with the defamation case that Johnny Depp won against Amber Heard.

Actor Mark Hapka will play Johnny Depp, actress Megan Davis will play Amber Heard, actress Melissa Marty will play Johnny's attorney Camille Vasquez, and Mary Craig will play Amber Heard's attorney, Elaine Bredehoft.

The film deals with the controversial defamation case that came to an end on June 1, when a jury ruled that Amber Heard must pay $ 10 million to Johnny Depp.

According to American media, the film is directed by Sarah Loman, written by Guy Nichollucci, and is scheduled to be shown on the "Tubi" platform on September 30.

On July 20, Amber Heard officially filed an appeal against a $10 million fine in a defamation lawsuit brought by her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.

The American magazine "Forbes" indicated that Amber Heard's defense team submitted the official papers for the appeal to the Fairfax County Circuit Court, Virginia.

The appeal of the ruling came days after a US court rejected the appeal filed by Amber Heard's lawyers against the ruling in favor of Depp, during which they requested that the fine amount be dropped, arguing that the ruling was not supported by evidence.

Depp sued Heard for defamation over an op-ed she wrote in December 2018 in the Washington Post, in which she described herself as a "public figure who represents domestic violence."

Depp's lawyers alleged that the article was defamed even though his name was never mentioned in the article.

The 6-week televised trial turned into a duel between the two stars and much of the testimony focused on Heard's allegations that she was physically assaulted by Depp.
