The teachers of the graduating class have different understandings of the double reduction policy, and they feel that their responsibilities are obviously much greater than in the past.
Mr. Huo is a history teacher. He was the head teacher of the graduating class last year, and this year he is the grade leader of the third grade.
Get up at 6:30 every morning to wash and eat, and go to school at 7:30 to start work.
After the students arrive at school, they first read before class, and then begin to prepare for class.
At noon, the head teacher watches the class, and other teachers can answer questions for the students.
After class in the afternoon, after-school service starts at 4:30.
The after-school service of Fengtai School of the High School Affiliated to Renmin University of China breaks class boundaries and is classified by subject, and has designed diversified and personalized after-school service content for students; students can choose subjects that they are interested in or relatively weak to participate in the after-school service period tutoring or interest training courses.
After 5:30, Mr. Huo will take the students to the playground to exercise for half an hour. The school attaches great importance to physical exercise.
During the holiday, the physical education teacher also designed a detailed exercise program for the students, and the students can exercise every day according to the program.
At 6 o'clock, boarding students can go to the cafeteria to eat, while day students can go home.
The school also provides evening self-study classrooms for day students who cannot go home in time after school. One year after the implementation of the double reduction policy, Mr. Huo's biggest impression is that the homework after school has changed, and the requirements for teachers are stricter.
Now every school has a homework announcement system. Teachers can only have homework if they have a class, and they cannot leave homework without a class.
The assignment of each subject is limited to about 20 minutes, which is a test of the pertinence of the assignment design.
