On the evening of September 17, the Information Office of the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control.

At the meeting, Hu Zhichun, a member of the party group of the Xinjiang Health and Health Commission, answered questions from reporters.

Hu Zhichun said that Xinjiang's epidemic prevention and control work needs to work hard on "foreign prevention and import", strengthen the source control of port cities, and implement port prevention and control measures in order to accurately build a "foreign prevention and import" defense line.

The first is to strengthen epidemic prevention and control at border ports.

Persons entering the county or city where the border port is located must undergo a nucleic acid test on the ground, and when leaving, they must provide a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours. Inter-regional tourism and other activities are suspended for the county (city, district) where the border port is located.

The second is to strengthen the closed-loop management of the whole process of entry personnel.

Strictly implement the "7-day centralized isolation medical observation + 3-day home health monitoring" management measures for inbound personnel, and strengthen the closed-loop management of the entire process from port entry, health quarantine, nucleic acid testing, transfer and triage, isolation and observation to home health monitoring.

The third is to strengthen the management of employees in high-risk positions.

Adhere to closed-loop management, and when people go out, they must complete a 7-day isolation medical observation after leaving work, hold a negative nucleic acid test certificate within 48 hours, and report to the unit where they work.

Fourth, it is necessary to strictly prevent cross-infection at the entry centralized isolation point and designated medical institutions.

Standardize the procedures of nucleic acid testing, environmental disinfection, health monitoring, garbage removal and transportation at centralized entry isolation points, and implement requirements such as "three zones and two channels", single-person and single-room isolation, ventilation and disinfection, and closed-loop management.
