Fukuoka Prefecture announced on the 18th that 2411 new people were confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
It was the 26th consecutive day that it was below the same day of the previous week.
The breakdown is 575 in Fukuoka, 384 in Kitakyushu, and 151 in Kurume.
It also includes those who tested positive in self-tests using antigen test kits distributed by the prefecture.
A total of 1,058,517 people were confirmed to be infected in Fukuoka Prefecture.
