Sukumo City, Kochi Prefecture issued an evacuation order to 19,666 people in 10,48 households throughout the city at 4:00 pm, due to the risk of damage from landslides and storms due to the typhoon.
Evacuation orders are level 4 out of 5 warning levels, calling for everyone to immediately evacuate from dangerous places.
