Typhoon Nanmadol has landed in Kagoshima, Japan.

It is about 330km away from Jeju.

In the future, the typhoon will quickly change direction and sweep across the land of Osaka.

It will not have a direct impact on Korea, but strong winds and heavy rain will fall in Jeju, Yeongnam coast, and Yeongdong regions that are close to typhoons.

First of all, a typhoon warning has been issued for the distant sea south of Jeju.

In the future, the special advisory will be extended to Jeju and Yeongnam coastal areas.

In addition, a strong wind advisory will be issued mainly along the coast.

At present, strong winds of over 40 km/h have been observed in Jeju.

In the future, very strong winds of up to 125 km/h may blow instantaneously in Jeju, Yeongnam coast, and Yeongdong regions.

This is enough to blow people and rocks away.

In extreme cases, there is a risk of the building collapsing, so caution is required.

Heavy rain is also forecast.

Currently, it is raining lightly on Jeju and the southern coast.

In the future, it is expected that up to 150mm or more of heavy rain will fall in the Yeongnam coastal area.

The late heat will continue today in places inland where rain clouds do not reach.
