Will the episodes of drought in recent months push French car washes to follow the example of Omar Bouziane, whose start-up cleans vehicles by – drastically – saving water?

“Technically, we mix many products with water, specifies the young Moroccan entrepreneur.

But for a big 4x4 and without complaining about the products, we only consume 35 centilitres of water!

".

That is to say the equivalent of a can of soda…

Remarkable water savings

Omar discovered this technology in Dubai, during a trip.

He took it up after reading an alarming report from the UN “I saw a map of the world on which were shown, in red, the areas with the greatest water stress.

Morocco was one of them and it was specified that if nothing was done by 2030, the whole country would have to ration water.

Since then, his start-up Ewash has saved, in just 18 months, “the equivalent of the water consumption of 11,000 inhabitants”.
