This drama, which gathers many outstanding main artists and actors in Mandarin, will pay tribute to the glorious years and lay out a magnificent picture of the literature and art of the Anti-Japanese War in a novel way of combining installation art, video art and drama art, in the interpretation of light and shadow, performance and song.

　　Literature and Art in the Anti-Japanese War, in the form of literature and drama, with magnificent brushstrokes, shows that from 1931 to 1945, patriotic writers and artists searched, struggled and struggled in literary and artistic ways to find a way out for China, and finally found a way out in China. At the end of the Anti-Japanese War, they gathered in Yan'an and established a people-centered creative direction under the correct guidance of the party's literary and artistic policy.

The play involves Lu Xun, Guo Moruo, Mao Dun, Ba Jin, Lao She, Cao Yu, Tian Han, Xia Yan, Ouyang Yuqian, Hong Shen, Nie Er, Xian Xinghai, Ding Ling, Zhang Ruifang, Shu Xiuwen, Bai Yang, Qin Yi and other famous literary artists, showing left-wing literature , drama, film, music, art and other artistic styles, with the collection of contemporary stage language to show the spirit and power of Chinese literature and art during the Anti-Japanese War.

　　Tian Qinxin, director of the play and president of the National Theatre of China, said that the screenwriter started writing in 2021. It took more than a year to check materials and put in effort to sort out the literary mind of the 14 years of the Anti-Japanese War, providing a very valuable script for the theater.

The main creative artists from different art categories such as music, art, and film, with their own understanding, actively participated in creation, and searched for the spirit of literature and art in the War of Resistance.

During the rehearsal, the actors gradually recognized and understood the characters in the play, filled with emotion, and paid tribute to the glorious years together.
