  On the morning of the 16th, the remains of the ninth batch of Chinese People's Volunteer Army martyrs in South Korea were escorted by a special plane of the Chinese Air Force to Shenyang, Liaoning Province from South Korea. The remains of 88 volunteer army martyrs and 837 related relics returned to the motherland.

  At 10:00 on the 17th, the burial ceremony was held in the sunken Volunteer Army Martyrs Memorial Square in the cemetery.

The audience played and sang the national anthem of the People's Republic of China.

  Wang Jinyu, a nearly ninety-year-old veteran of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, came to Shenyang on September 16 at the gate of the Cemetery of the Martyrs to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, waiting to pick up his comrades home.

On the 17th, he participated in the funeral ceremony of his comrades.

According to statistics, since 2014, a total of 913 volunteer martyrs have rested here.

  Wang Jinyu, who joined the Chinese People's Volunteer Army at the age of 17, said: "I am both happy and sad to see my comrades come back. I am happy that they can return to the motherland and see the development of our country. Our country has stood up, become rich and strong. Get up!
