The San Sebastian Film Festival continues to fill the city with fashion as well as movies.

In an edition where black is dominating the red carpet -as has already happened in the most recent ones, for example during the last Venice Festival, which seemed also marked by the death of the Queen of England- two of its great protagonists have put the color note.

The first, Penélope Cruz, brand new National Cinematography Award, which she received from the Minister of Culture, Miquel Iceta.

To pick it up, she changed her traditional preference for black, opting for a two-piece with a miniskirt in a flattering dusty pink, a design in the purest

Chanel

style , a brand of which she is an ambassador.

Penelope Cruz, protagonist

The actress, who among other awards has in her possession the honorary César, three Goyas, a Volpi Cup and an Oscar, has become with this award the great protagonist of the festival.

In his speech after receiving the award, he recalled the three directors who paved the way for him -

Bigas Luna, Fernando Trueba

and

Pedro Almodóvar

- and especially his family: "The streets of my neighborhood became sets for incredible stories. That's why I have a lot of I have to thank my parents a lot for supporting me on a path that was so foreign to them", she said emotionally.

White and prints

The other ray of light in the midst of the elegant blackness of the total black came from the hand of

Olivia Wilde.

Her first look in the city of San Sebastian was a splendid long

70s

-inspired dress with a flattering floral print with large sunflowers.

Along with her, two other Spanish actresses,

Bárbara Lennie

and

Alba Guilera

, have joined the list of best dressed with two sophisticated looks in pristine white with a common element: the cape.

This is the highlight of the red carpet of the second day of the festival.
