Gunma Prefecture announced on the 15th that 1,379 people were newly infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
That's 82 fewer than last Thursday's 1,461.
On the other hand, the prefecture withdrew a total of three people announced on the 4th of last month and the 14th of this month.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 224,593, of which 457 died.
