According to the official Weibo news of the National Earthquake Network, the China Earthquake Network officially determined that an incident occurred at 06:49 on September 16 in Pishan County, Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang (36.13 degrees north latitude, 77.92 degrees east longitude). The 4.6-magnitude earthquake had a focal depth of 10 kilometers.
