Research on innovative mosquito control technologies remains generally weak
According to the National Health and Medical Commission, in recent years, my country's vector biological control work has made great progress. It has established a nationwide vector biological monitoring network, issued 66 vector biological control standards, and played a role in major natural disasters and major activities. The epidemic situation of key vector infectious diseases in my country remains stable and shows a downward trend.
Regarding the representative's suggestion of "strengthening research on mosquito control technology", the National Health and Health Commission replied that since 2008, the national major special projects have supported research on important vector organism monitoring and transmission-related pathogen detection technology, etc. Breakthrough achievements have been made in biological (mosquito) efficient automatic sampling devices, rapid pathogen detection technology, and vector efficiency, but the research on innovative mosquito control technology is still relatively weak.
Continuously strengthen scientific management of mosquito control

Actively carry out vector biological monitoring, the number of national-level vector biological monitoring points has reached 1,097, and a "three-in-one" monitoring network of mosquito and other vector biological ecology, etiology and drug resistance has been formed. , prediction and early warning, control planning, etc. provide scientific basis, and also provide a decision-making basis for scientific selection of mosquito control pesticides.
Regarding the proposal put forward by the representative to "improve the level of environmental sanitation and carry out a solid patriotic sanitation campaign", the reply mentioned that the National Health Commission, together with the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other departments, vigorously promote the sanitation of urban and rural environments. Actions, focusing on urban and rural garbage, sewage, and toilets, strengthen infrastructure construction, and carry out centralized environmental sanitation improvement in key areas such as old communities, urban-rural junctions, and markets.
