On Strindberg's Intima Teater's stage in Stockholm, the comedian and actor colleagues entertain throughout September.

- There is no script.

We improvise an hour and a half of humor in a story based on the same framework as August Strindberg's play "A dream game", says Moa.

- It's among the fluffiest we've done, says Dilan.

Based on the audience

Strindberg's play "A Dream Play" from 1902 is the basis for Dilan and Moa's performance.

The play is about the god Indra's daughter's journey to earth to try to understand humans.

Her musings are mixed with dreamlike scenes where neither time nor space exists.

A form that Dilan and Moa use in their performance.

- There is a lot to be learned in a "Dream Play", says Moa and explains that they include both character traits and environments from Strindberg in their improvisations.

In Dilan and Moa's version, however, it is not Indra's daughter who is the protagonist, but questions from each evening's audience that determine the improvised action.

Strindberg's madness

Much of the inspiration also comes from the "madness" that pervades Strindberg's work according to the duo.

- He was wildly crazy, which I think we both relate to, very hysterical and paranoid, says Dilan and continues:

- But regardless of how he wrote, whether it was very realistic or unrealistic, there is always a streak of social criticism in everything he does.

It is something that we also always have with us.
