"Réseau d'Enquêtes", France 3's reportage magazine, produced in the regions, is dedicating its first issue of the new school year to the war in Ukraine.

Broadcast Wednesday evening on France 3 at 11:10 p.m., the program entitled "Ukraine, stolen childhood" will show the daily life of Ukrainian children who have arrived in France since the start of the conflict.

A great example of resilience.

Réseau d'Enquêtes

, France 3's reportage magazine, produced in the regions, tackles the subject of the war in Ukraine.

The show is back on Wednesday evening with an issue devoted to children from Ukraine and how they are received in France.

Today they are 18,000.

And, this is what prompted the

Investigation Network

teams to take an interest in the subject.

"We wanted to show the mobilization around these children"

"The program starts from a principle: there are societal themes that are recurrent from one region to another and which necessarily have a link between them. And there, with Ukraine, we realize that everywhere, in the small towns, in the big cities, everyone has been touched by these Ukrainians. Everyone has heard of a host family, and of children arriving at school. So what we wanted to show, it was this mobilization around these families and in particular these children", explains on Europe 1 Charles-Henry Boudet, presenter of the program.

The principle of

the Investigation Network

is to rely on the work of the regional newsrooms of France 3. Every day there are 24 news bulletins, which therefore cover many territories.

The show was shot in Nice, in large part, because 700 Ukrainian children were welcomed there.

"They have no choice but to adapt"

Charles-Henry Boudet retains the resilience of children, very well illustrated in

Network of investigations

.

"We spent four days with two young children aged nine and ten. We followed them to their foster family and to school. Right away, they don't care that you speak another language They just let you know that they are there, that they want to laugh, that they want to play, that they want to learn and they will get used to their new world. whether they're going to stay six months, whether they're going to stay ten years. They don't know. Their mother has only one desire, of course, and that's to go back to the country because the fathers stayed in the country. . But them, whatever, it's their new life. They have no choice but to adapt. And they do it with an incredible smile and strength", he confides to the microphone of Europe 1.
