I think the significance of continuing my studies is to improve myself first, because I have been teaching for more than ten years before, and I have already felt that I have started to "dry". Bring a lot of knowledge to students, because it's not like saying: "If you want to give others half a bucket of water, you have to have a bucket of water yourself."

[Explanation] One day in the sixth grade of elementary school, Zhang Chen suffered retinal detachment due to congestion in the fundus of his eyes.

Since then her world has become "black".

In the darkest period of her life, it was music that ignited her hope in life and "saw" the "color" of life.

In 2020, she decided to continue her studies and bring more hope to visually impaired children.

What it means to me is harvest and growth. I have learned a lot of knowledge that I have not learned before, as well as a lot of new teaching concepts and methods. So when I return to my job now, I will take the knowledge I have learned, Pass it on to my students, and use better and advanced teaching methods and concepts in my teaching. I hope that my students can get more happiness and beauty in music class. Through music The class can feel the beauty of this world.

[Explanation] In 2022, after two years of hard study, Zhang Chen successfully obtained a master's degree, but what she is happiest about is not the certificate, but the ability to pass on the music knowledge she has learned to more people who suffer from the same problems as her. visually impaired students.

At the beginning of September, when she walked into the classroom and "meeted" the classmates she was thinking of, those worries in her heart vanished.

I used to think that there might be some discomfort when I come back here. My classmates haven't seen me for two years, and they haven't taken my classes. Will they feel uncomfortable?

Then after I came back, at the beginning of the class, I found that there was no such uncomfortable process at all, and we integrated very well, and then my students felt that they (they) were expecting me to come back, and I was also there. Looking forward to meeting them.

[Commentary] In Zhang Chen's view, music has helped her get out of the haze of life. The vocal music teacher has ignited her hope in life. She also hopes to be such a teacher, so that more children can feel the beauty of life. Ignite the hope of life and continue to pass on this love.

Because I think for us visually impaired people, music is a very important thing, it can be regarded as a gift.

Because we can't see, we have to experience the world through our ears and hearing a lot of the time. In music class, I hope they will open up another pair of eyes to understand beauty from my class.

[Explanation] In Zhang Chen's mind, visually impaired students receive information and learn differently from ordinary people. They need more care and recognition, so that their lives will be wonderful.
