The pre-established plan needs 10 days.. This is how Britain will bid farewell to its queen

Secret plans for the course of events in Britain after the death of Queen Elizabeth II have been in the works for a long time in what was called "Operation London Bridge".

These are the details of the ten-day plan, from the announcement of death to the burial:

With the announcement of the death of Queen Elizabeth II at Balmoral Palace in Scotland, Britain began implementing a well-planned plan and protocols under the name "London Bridge Fall".

The beginning was with the notification of the Prime Minister, Liz Terrace, of the death, via a secure communication and by token or code, and then followed by moving forward with the implementation of a long series of communications that included informing the Cabinet Secretary and senior ministers with the need to preserve the confidentiality of the information.

After that, the official announcement of Queen Elizabeth's death was announced in the newspapers, with flags at half-mast over public buildings, bells tolled within ten seconds, and black banners were placed on government accounts and Buckingham Palace accounts on all social media platforms.

Ten days before burial

Meanwhile, Prince Charles, heir to the throne, addresses the nation as King of the country at 6 pm local time, followed by a memorial service at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

For ten days, until the Queen's funeral, all government business will be suspended, including the suspension of the House of Commons, but the protocols set out in "Operation London Bridge" will be implemented where each of the ten days will be symbolized by "Day-day" or "the day of the death of the Queen".

Day 1 - Coronation of the new king

Prince Charles will be officially proclaimed the new king at 10 am in what will be the coronation of Charles, "Operation Tide Spring".

The new king will hold his first meeting with the Prime Minister and members of the government at 3:30 pm.

The following day, Elizabeth's coffin will be transported to Buckingham Palace and will be received by the Prime Minister and Cabinet members.

Because of her death at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, a process called "Unicorn" will be carried out, which includes transporting her body to London by train.

In the event that it is not possible to transport the body by train, the operation "OVERSTUDY" will be carried out, which means transporting the body on an airplane.

On the third day, the new king is due to receive condolences at Westminster Palace in the morning, while he will start his first trip to the United Kingdom at noon, with his first stop in Scotland.

While the new king visits Northern Ireland, Operation Lion will be carried out to simulate the procession carrying the coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Palace.

Following the arrival of the coffin to the palace, a mass will be held in the chapel, and the Queen's body will be placed in the center of the hall of Westminster Palace for three days in order to welcome the public to pay their farewell around the clock in a process that will be called "feather".

Meanwhile, a simulation of the state funeral will be held to coincide with the visit of King Charles of Wales.

The tenth day - the official funeral and burial

A state funeral service will take place at Westminster Abbey and there will be two minutes of silence across the country this afternoon, when the day will be declared a day of national mourning.

Employers can, if they wish, give their employees time off work.

The state funeral procession will proceed to St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle with a farewell glimpse of the Queen's body during service.

The body will be buried at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle next to her husband Prince Philip, who died in April last year and whose body will now be moved from the royal vault to the family cemetery.
