170 potted sweet-scented osmanthus flowers hang on the branches, and the fragrance is overflowing.
It is understood that the Summer Palace has a century-old history of potted osmanthus cultivation. This year, a total of 62 potted osmanthus in the garden will be displayed in this year, mainly in the East Palace Gate and the Renshou Hall scenic spot for visitors to watch.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the two cultural and commercial spaces of the Summer Palace, Yanqing Shanglou Tea House and Chenghuaige Tea House, were officially opened to the outside world to improve the commercial supporting services in the northwest of the park.
The creation of the two commercial spaces continues the unique "Yi-style life" new Chinese aesthetics.
Among them, Chenghuai Pavilion is located at the northern end of Xiaoxiling Island, and the tea house focuses on court tea culture; Yanqing Pavilion is located at the foot of the western mountain of Wanshou Mountain, which is a new Chinese tea culture experience space.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Summer Palace also opened a nature and humanities class around the osmanthus culture, leading children to make notes on nature and draw beautiful autumn scenery.
