Hyogo Prefecture announced on the 11th that 3,808 people in the prefecture were newly confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
Compared to the previous Sunday, 1,979 people decreased.
The number of confirmed infections in the prefecture reached 962,636.
The number of infected people does not include those who are self-medicating.
The number of severely ill patients decreased by four from the 10th to 19.
The prefecture also announced a total of seven deaths that had been infected.
A total of 2,763 people have died from the virus in the prefecture.
